That Real Football SIM
Status: in development.
The same idea as That Real Baseball SIM, applied to football. Fully accessible, playable by blind and sighted players alike, and built on the assumption that a blind fan wants the same depth as anybody else.
How you play
Four game modes
Single game
Any team from 1960 to the present against any other, in one game.
Dynasty
Start with any post-1960 season and its real players, then run the franchise forward. Full seasons with statistics, league leaders, trade offers, injuries and players of the week, tracking individual and team numbers for offense and defense across every team. Start with the 1970 Cowboys and carry them to the modern day, the roster evolving from Roger Staubach to Troy Aikman to Tony Romo to Dak Prescott and beyond.
All-star
Pick a franchise and play with its all-time greats. For Dallas: do you start Aikman or Staubach? Emmitt or Dorsett? Throw it to Lamb or Irvin? And on defense you have Randy White, Too Tall Jones and the rest.
Fantasy
Draft from more than a thousand of the game’s great players and build whatever you want — Mahomes handing off to Barry Sanders and throwing to Jerry Rice or Kelce. Choose your roster size and a season of 12 to 17 games, all of it ending at the same place: the championship.
Pace
Simulate it or coach it
Simulate the whole game. Simulate quarter by quarter. Or play it out yourself, picking your package and running the play on both offense and defense.
