Who this year’s benefit supports

InTandem

InTandem opens up cycling to people who are blind or have low vision, pairing riders with sighted captains on tandem bikes so they can get out on the road and in the park.

The Seeing Eye

The Seeing Eye breeds and trains guide dogs, and trains the people who work with them, so that blind and visually impaired people can travel independently.

About Laugh For Sight

Laugh For Sight began at Gotham Comedy Club in October 2005 and has been raising money for the blind and low-vision community ever since. This October marks the 19th annual benefit at Gotham.

The show has also traveled: four benefits at the Improv in West Hollywood, one at the Ritz-Carlton South Beach, and one on Long Island.

Past lineups have brought together some of the biggest names in comedy, including Robert Klein, Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, Sarah Silverman, Bill Burr, Gilbert Gottfried, John Oliver, Lewis Black, Russell Peters, Jenna Elfman, Steven Wright, Kevin Nealon, Kevin Pollak, Colin Quinn, Adam Ferrara, Pablo Francisco, Michelle Wolf, Jim Norton, Godfrey, Dave Attell, Rich Vos, and Bonnie McFarlane — along with more than 120 other comedians who have donated their time and talent to raise money for blindness-related causes.
